Real estate tax instead of wealth tax
The Caribbean Netherlands does not have a box 3 levy as in the European Netherlands. Instead, you pay a property tax of approximately 0.8% to 0.9% per year on the investment property, with an exemption on the first $70,000.
No VAT, but an ABB of 6%
